Pain is Good Batch #218 Louisiana Style Hot Sauce:
Pain is Good makes a variety of small-batch (and not-so-small-batch) hot sauces, so chances are they're always going to have something you like! Batch #218 is a Louisiana-style hot sauce, which means a couple of things:
- It's probably going to be vinegar-forward, which it is -- in this case, with the slightly sweet taste of malt vinegar, and
- It's probably going to feature cayenne peppers, which this does, alongside of a healthy dose of habaneros.
The peppers are mixed in with tomatoes, brown sugar, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke, and much more, and then one imagines it bubbling away in a cauldron somewhere deep in the bayou. (At least, we do.)
True to its roots, this Louisiana hot sauce is going to be great with shrimp, crawfish, gator, and just about anywhere else you might normally use a tabasco-based sauce.
But you don't have to head over to the bayou -- you can get it right here, right now, and since it comes in a large, 7.5 oz bottle (that's about 50% larger than the typical 5 oz. hot sauce bottle you're probably used to seeing) you're getting deliciousness and value in one bottle.
